Mode Select A B Button ?

hi@all,

uhm...so what exactly does the Mode Select A B Button on the backside of the 3DO (japanese FZ-1 Model) do? I'm asking because I don't have the 3DO manual, sorry.

I have Japanese FZ-1s and 10s and none of them have a-b button...

maybe its a developer console? plays encreypted and not encrypted discs? does it load games in one postion and not the other? Another interesting thing would be to see if the switch is even wired up on the inside.
