The texture quality when they go indoors truly impressed me!

Re: Project Owl
Yup, been keeping my eyes on this project for quite some time. Looks like Atari owl is doing an amazing job with what the Jaguar can do. It will be interesing to see where this goes once released as this could be the Jaguar game the community has been waiting for.Doskias wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4K7ABfz ... re=related

This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!
Hi Doskias and t2k
Thank you very much for the kind words.
Yes its a multicoloured voxel (or at least a height mapping variant of voxel in that i'm using only one layer) engine with polys for the character and objects.
I'm considering allowing sprites for some objects (as in Phase Zero) instead of true polys as it should speed things up a bit.

So uh, I have to ask, how long before we can play this thing? Just fishing and hoping for an answer at this point . . .aowl wrote:Hi Doskias and t2k

Hi everyone
Once again thank you very much for the kind words and encouragement.
We are working on it - but one learns very quickly on the Jaguar community not to make promises - so i don't know when this will be done. Please remember that although i have very good people helping me with content i'm coding it alone (and fitting racing in too) and that we have bitten off a very comlicated and difficult type of project.
If you're interested though i'll keep you updated.

Yeah. It never ceases to amaze me the sort of anger thrown around in the Freedo forums too. ADMIN PROMISED THIS, NOW I'M SAD BECAUSE HE WAS 2 DAYS LATE! HATE YOU ADMIN. Or indeed worse.aowl wrote:Hi everyone
