Correct Way To Turn Off The Console?

Post by The_Legend » Wed Aug 27, 2008 6:56 am

I have a FZ-1 and FZ-10, though I play the 10 over the 1.

My question is...what is the correct way to end a game and turn off the console (tell me for the FZ-1 as well just in case I ever play with it again as well)?

I open the disc tray, take out the game, then power off the console. Is this the right way?

Also, if I wanted to play a different game, is there a way to "reset" the system, and not have to turn it off then turn it back on with the new game inside? Thanks!

I think you can safely just pull the plug. The absence of a reset button was the cause of much weeping and gnashing of teeth but you have to switch it off and on again.

Appreciate it. Knowing me, though, I'll probably still pop the lid then take out the game. Just habit I guess with other CD based consoles.
