E rated adult game?

This game looks like any other Japanese 3DO smutware, but ...

... it is rated E for everyone!

How can this be? Does anyone here own this game? What does it consist of?

I just popped it in the player and I guess it is rated E as there doesn't appear to be any overt displays of nudity. Everything of any consequence is more or less "covered" by the various bikinis. There are quite a few girls in this game too. More than 35 actually.

There are basically two parts to this disk. One is a slot machine style game where you can pick between quite a few different slot machines and play to get more credits and to see pictures of girls in swim suits.

When I tried to access the other part of the disk it wouldn't load so I tried another copy of the game that I have and it wouldn't load either. So then I pulled out a Japanese FZ-1 and it loaded.
Funny that half of the disk will only play on Japanese systems, and the other half doesn't care.
This second half of the disk is pretty detailed. You can specfiics of each of the girls and there must hundreds of pictures to be sorted through.

Time to revive this old post ....

I recently picked up a copy of this title too and ran into the same trouble ... the second part of this disc wont load! It just resets the machine.

I guess this could be added to the short list of 3do games that only play by region ... I mean what is the point, w/such a huge part of the title missing.

I wonder if there are any other japanese games that have limited compatibility on an NTSC player? I also wonder if there are any tricks to get it to run correctly?

I don't think there are any tricks, as the Japanese FZ-1 had an extra kanji chip (I may be talking rubbish here but...)

There is a trick to making it run on Freedo though. Apparently, and I never tried, if you UnCDROM the disc and use a special fonts file in someway in Freedo (load binary I think -- sketchy I know) then it may work.

Although before you waste too much time, I wouldn't, the whole game is nothing to write-home about!

Yeah, the game doesn't really seem to have much of a point. It is too suggestive for the E rated audience, but too tame for an adult audience. Must have been the result of some strange focus group ...
