3 Magazine - US Mag - Any good?

I always sort of assumed that the UK 3DO Magazine and US 3 Magazine were pretty much the same thing. Like Edge Magazine and NG Magazine. I figured they just jiggled things about a bit but ultimately they were one in the same. Not so, so it appears.

Anyone have the full 3 Magazine set? What's it like? Any good?

I've got the set, and I think it complements the other 3DO publications fairly well.
My first 3DO system came bundled with an issue back in 1994.

3 magazine was ... decent ...

...it had a captive audience when it came to 3DO which helped it I'm sure.

Compared to the UK mag though, it was pretty lousy if I'm being honest.

-no cover discs

-crummy amateur layout

-missed reviews of big games

-reviews were late

-Writing quality varied wildly (they ended up using one writer for like 80% of the reviews because he was the only consistently good one ... name escapes me at the moment, but he is still around the industry)

On the plus, the reviews were rather lengthy & detailed.

I've all the issues except one. If anyone has the E3 issue w/the Bladeforce contraption on the cover pm me please.
