I've just ben reading Edge Magaine from 1995 and read something like:
"3do claim that the 3DO is out selling the Sega Saturn 4 to 1."
Ohhhhhhh-reallllly?

If I remember right, this was for a limited time shortly after the Saturn's suprise launch. After the early adopters plunked down for the Saturn it went through a dry spell. It's spotty launch games and high $399 price tag did not compare well w/3DO's deep library and recently reduced price ($299, but as low as $199 in many markets) High Profile games like Bladeforce were coming out and the M2 hype was at it's peak. By xmas that year though proper Saturn ports (VF2 for ex) were out and 3DO support was fading. For those couple months though ...
