I was thinking about possible new 3do releases (or lack thereof) and was bouncing around ideas in my head about what would be the most simple project to get the ball rolling among fans (assuming the encryption cracking is either discovered, shared, or (gulp) sold)
Anyone remember those old text adventures from the early 80's ... no graphics & sound, just pure text? I would love to play the next Zork on 3do.
Oh well, I can always dream ...
Wishing for homebrew ...
'Choose your own 3DO adventure'
Something like the psx rpg maker series, but only w/the option to create &/or alter text.

You are standing in front of a 3DO multiplyer. The light flickering on the side indicates that it is running. Turning on the television you see the "game" Plumbers don't wear ties"
smash 3do
You don't really want to ruin your favorite console do you? How else will you be able to play the only true version of Need for Speed?
put fist through television
Sorry, but you need this older model television to support your ALG lightgun. What would life be without Space Pirates and Demolition Man?
Play Plumbers

Eject disc, run it through blender, flush remains down toliet.

Congratulations!

Well, I got the development environment up and running on my new computer and compiled another demo to refresh my memory on how to do all this stuff. It's nothing exciting -- just the 3DO logo spinning and a crowd cheering. But if someone has a testing station or dev capable version of Freedo, then feel free to download it:
