This is actually the first unit I've seen w/full documentation. Nice, but not worth the very high asking price.

£900 UK pounds. It's not the end of the world - but what would I do with it?

How come? One was on eBay about a year ago, and some people at Assembler have complete, boxed dev kits as well.

Anyway, that link is quite old. I saw it half a year ago already, and I don't think anyone will ever buy it for $1800.

I'm really tempted, but it's hard to justify $1800 knowing that I'd probably never write any complete software for it... And even if I did, nobody would be able to play it!

If that would be the only problem... I wish I could compile some code at all, but it's not that easy to set up the dev environment. It requires additional components that are not included with the M2 SDK, and it seems to be impossible to acquire them these days.

Not only that, but the dude doesn't ship things out. You gotta go ALL the way to San Francisco to pick it up.

While you're at it, pick up that snazzy fridge he's selling in the bargain section ;)

3DO M2 dev system in san fransisco

Post by Gusbucket13 » Fri Mar 14, 2008 2:52 pm

As of 28 Jan 08 the price had fallen to $1500 no offers, At that price I can find the money, But I cant afford the air fare to W coast america from the UK it would virtually double the price.

Wonder if the seller would accept Western Union cash transfer and break his rule of no posting? Probably not :(

The guy who is selling it... his email is

sultryhotmale@hotmail.com

I mean come on. He should make his own email domain. sultryhotmale@hotmansex.com or something.

But seriously, he has some pretty cool Saturn stuff for sale. Or a sweet leather jacket lol.
