Videogame Audio Soundtracks

Post by MegaData » Mon Mar 31, 2014 7:38 pm

I have been listening to the Tempest 2000 (& Duke Nuke'em) soundtrack(s) in my car over the last week. It got me to thinking that there were other soundtracks out there. I've now downloaded the BattleSphere and Defender 2000 soundtracks from the JustClaws website. (I'm happy to see is still around even if 95% of the external links are dead.) These things are cool, if you like the Tempest 2000 music.

Unfortunately, my phone does not like Tempest 2000 (and Thea Realm Fighters) filetypes. I believe the ringtone I made for my phone is in midi format and JustClaws soundtracks are in MP3. Isn't there a way to put the CDs I own into one of these formats? Audio CDs come up as .cda (not music) files I can convert easily into .WMA but the phone doesn't recognize those.

The Tempest 2000 soundtrack on JustClaws is confusing because the titles are inaccurate and the various files are in mismatched formats. I'd prefer to just get the songs off the CDs I paid for.

I've seen a couple photos around the 'net of "The Original BS" that look official and I may have seen one for the "Defender 2000 Soundtrack." Is there any way to get an official copy of either of these?

Still sealed Tempest 2000 CDs are all over the place. Especially eBay.

I have the Tempest 2000 Soundtrack. I saw that there's a Braindead 13 Soundtrack at that unmentionable forum that has that unmentionable storefront, too. Anyone have that?

...and there's a Black Ice/White Noise Soundtrack? Blimey! Is there a complete list somewhere?
