A protective case for D's Diner: Director's Cut

Post by 3DO Experience » Fri Jan 17, 2014 11:25 pm

I bought a clear plastic case made to go over a double CD case that had a little bit of extra room in it in the hopes that I would finally have something to protect D's Diner: Director's Cut. It fit (barely)!

Sorry, it seems the camera wanted to focus on the reflection.

Now if I only had the OBI, or a scan of it...

That's rather sexy looking. I've never laid eyes on that before today!

Is the fancy black outer one of those annoying slip cases without either end provided, allowing the CD case to freely fall out? My Japanese ShikigamiNoShiro2 LE for DC came like that: 2x SINGLE jewel cases, one of which was the game and one the OST, both slid inside a cardboard sleeve without any top OR bottom, merely held together by the original seal/wrap! F*cking genius...

No, luckily it only comes out from one end. I was worried about wear and tear on the outer black sleeve, it fits in so snugly that I can just open the plastic and slip the jewel case out and the cardboard will stay inside. :D

Niiiiice, you wouldn't happen to have it in a higher resolution?
I don't want to be 'that guy' but it would be perfect it it were double that.

OH BABY! THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!

You are a godsend! I've always wished mine wasn't missing the OBI and I just couldn't buy a second copy just for that slip of paper. This makes me very happy!

I lucked out with my copy, the listing didn't mention an OBI and there wasn't one pictured but when i got it they had tucked it inside the case. Even had the little gold Media Grand Prix '95 sticker on it too :)
