Fallen Angels released.

It does float! And doesn't get soggy in milk! :)

Fallen Angels released.

Post by a31chris » Mon May 06, 2013 4:52 am

Message from Dr Typo:

Here is my latest game, Fallen Angels.
It is a remake of the famous 8-bit game "Rescue on Fractalus".
You must rescue stranded pilots on the enemy planet.
This game can be loaded to the Jaguar RAM using a Skunkboard, BJL kit or a JagCD (after conversion to a CD image). There was some issue with certain model Jaguars that were fixed when uploading to skunk.See post #27. Also remove the CD player from the Jaguar when uploading via skunkboard if you have any further problems to see if that works.

Hell Yeah, I was about to point this out but you beat me to it Chris.

The game is outstanding. If you have access to Jiffi 1.4, it works fine on the Jaguar CD system as well. I highly recommend this game. It shows that quite a bit of hard work went into this. Dr. Typo may indeed be my favorite after death programmer for the Jaguar thus far as all three of his games have been good and they continue to improve with each one. It's proof that great things can indeed come from the Jaguar when someone takes the time to learn how to program it.

For 3DO fans that need an idea of what this is; Imagine, if you will, a psuedo Shockwaye view with Defender thrown in. Great concept and great game.

This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!

Wow. I'll have to dust off the Jag again.
