Incidentally, I only just bought and played this for the first (and last) time ever, last week. I like my 'bad' fighters (Kasumi Ninja, War Gods, SHAQ Fu etc) but ROTR is by far, the worst fighter I think I have ever played. Hands down, ROTR makes Shaq Fu look and play like 3rd Strike by comparison...

3DO has a few fighters that might be able to go toe to toe w/ROTR ... sadly.

Thankfully it has some great ones too!

Personally, ROTR is right at the bottom of the pile for me. Worse than ANY fighter on the Jaguar too (Yes, including the dreadful DDV).

WOTW and Ballz may be next up, but they're better than ROTR imo.

I completely forgot about that Shadow: War of Succession game. Ok, fair enough. I've heard that one is supposed to be supermegaultra turd as well. But... is it worse than ROTR though?

I'd definitely say that Shadow is worse. Rise of the Robots you can actually play if you try.

Shadow is one of the very few US releases that I have yet to acquire (for obvious reasons I have delayed) Based on the demo I played though, I'd say it is worse.

When comparing ROTR w/Jag fighters ... not sure if I'd put DDV ahead. That would make for an hilarious poll though, "Which fighter is worse?"

I do give ROTR the edge over Fight for Life though.
