Unorganized 3DO game music
I ripped some 3DO game music this weekend. I didn't want to put this on the 3DOOverture section since it's pretty disorganized. The track names are simply the names of the tracks off the original discs. I wasn't able to find all the music for some of the games. They're MP3 at 128k, I'm not picky about keeping raw waveforms.
Feel free to have a listen if you like:

The games are:
* Blade Force
* Guardian War
* Horde, The
* Immercenary
* Out of this World
* Perfect General
* PO'ed
* Primal Rage
* Samurai Shodown
* Slayer
* Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
* Trip'd
* Way of the Warrior

I added:
* Lucienne's Quest
* Ballz the Director's Cut
* Lost Eden
* Killing Time
... and most importantly....
* Plumbers Don't Wear Ties !
Yes indeed, you can now relive this the stellar action-adventure at work, in the car, anywhere!
I have extracted a specific, generation-defining quote into its own file, perfect for immediate use as a ringtone: TakeYourDamnClothesOff.mp3 !
All conversation options are present, and of course all the of the story line's audio clips. Not only that, but some of these gems are outtakes! Discover the hidden secrets of the game in tracks such as dec28b in which you hear the voice actor say "stop" at the end of the track! What is the hidden meaning behind this cryptic message? Perhaps we'll never know.
I also have Plumbers Don't Wear Ties in original, hi-fidelity audio upon request.

No big loss, I always thought the WOTW music kind stunk (although it was fitting)JohnnyDude wrote:Oh right, thanks. Those are deleted.3DO Experience wrote:All the music in Way of the Warrior is actually from a White Zombie album so you might wanna be careful ripping that one.
You've got some great tracks though, thanks.

I added the remaining Immercenary tracks to the google drive.
I was never able to figure out how to extract the music straight from the CD image. I could get it into a format that was discernable, but sounded scratchy. I ended up using 4DO to pull the music out while I was playing the game. Good enough for government work!
Too bad the music sucks! I think there are only a couple tracks worth a listen. Nostalgia tricked me with its rosy-colored glasses.
By the way, if you've played the game, you might know that you can't talk to Medusa in the DOASYS. I was hoping I'd find the audio tracks for the missing conversation pieces with her hidden somewhere on the game CD. Unfortunately, it looks like they're just not there at all. Dang.

You'd better believe I tried it! My wife was amused.Martin III wrote:Good man. Now that I've got a new phone, I've got to get around to putting one of these as my ring tone. "Take your damn clothes off" is certainly tempting, just to see the reaction of whoever happens to be with me...
I changed it back pretty quickly.

I'll probably be lynched for saying this, but I ripped the Plumbers Don't Wear Ties tracks specifically for a song I wanted to find.
DIA13.mp3 has an instrumental track that is pretty catchy, but I don't recognize it. I even used Shazam to try to identify it. As far as I can tell, it's unique to the game.

The dialogue jumps in pretty quick, though. To appreciate the full track you'll have to suffer through it.
