Yep, I've read that site a number of times. I'll check it out for TurboGrafx stuff on occasion. It's not usually this slow, though. Sheesh.

They're probably having some bandwidth or server problems. I was at the site before and it loaded up fine but yea... now it takes 1 minute to load a page.

I went to his Star Control 2 review, read it, he panned it basically. To the internet abyss with you I say.

Indeed. They're totally missing out on his very in depth and almost philosophical statements...

LOL, i've been looking at some of the old threads and felt the need to reply here, I actually emailed him about that review ages and ages ago, telling him to change it and explaining all the errors in his review (I don't usually do this sort of thing but was annoyed that he was giving a less than 90% score) you can tell from the review that he didn't get the arilou quasi space drive, which meant that he spent the entire game flying normally and ran out of time (which was his major criticism)

Meh on both those review sites. Both of them come off like the reviewers hate playing games period, and only play to bitch.

Yeah, that site is well-known for their unqualified reviews, especially among the CD-i community. People who aren't open-minded or don't like retro games shouldn't do reviews at all.

I love their Tomb Raider review for the Saturn
20%, I mean seriously thats the dumbest review score i've ever seen, even if you don't think the game's that great, it definately ain't no 20% thats the sort of score something like "barbie's pony ride" would get.
