Sorry, NES talk makes me de-rail threads more than they already have. :) I'll stop now.
Not me ... I love a good derailing.

It's funny, cause I've always thought Mega Man 2 was much harder than 3. But I know I'm in the minority ...

Similar w/Sonic the Hedgehog too ... most people say how much more challenging the sequel is compared to the original. But I found part 2 much easier than the 1st one, which I still think is tougher. Wierd, I know.

My opinion is that Mega Man 2 has a handful of more challenging sections (mostly later on in Wily's castle), but Mega Man 3 has some more aggressive bosses, like Needle Man, Gemini Man, and the recreated Mega Man 2 bosses can be a bitch to beat if you don't know the proper weapons to use (they are much more difficult here than in their original forms from Mega Man 2).

Speaking of Mega Man, does anyone know why they renamed him from Rockman, for the western market? some trademark thing as usual or what?

Those are great controllers! :D Probably my personal favorites of all 3DO pads due to the convenience of wireless (and also that the batteries seem to last forever!)

I like the box! I just put my Doc's in their box for storage. I've had lots of stuff out, now trying to organize and maybe be able to clean up the game room.
Those wireless controllers are nice, you'll be using them quite a bit and the batteries last a long time. Enjoy!

I have those as Doc's and Nakitek. The docs are in better shape and neither are boxed.

I badly want those 6 button wireless, but they seem to almost never come up for sale...

Nice. :)

No need to open BC Racers though ... keep it in the shrinkwrap.

What exactly is Nice Body, anyway? I've been curious about that one ever since I spotted its odd name in a list somewhere, but all I've been able to find out is that it's some sort of non-gaming multimedia software.

By the way, I like that stylized lettering on the cover to Blue Forest Story. There's something striking about simple covers like that.

Got my hands on a complete copy of Star Control II! It didn't come cheap, but I was feeling impatient to have it; I love RPGs, I love science fiction, and I love Crystal Dynamics. I'm not prepared to dive into all the documentation and general learning of the game's rules yet, but I did stick the game into my FZ-1 for a quick peek, and my anticipation has sharpened. :D

Bargain :D
 Bargain indeed!

You were the only bidder huh? Here in the states (at least when I've looked) it's always turned into a bidding war for 3DO mags.

I saw those and was going to bid but decided against it for some crazy reason, congrats on the bargain!

I didn't think I'd win them as I only bid the starting price and then forgot about it.

Very nice. I'd like to give a flight stick a try one day. What's with the layered grey button on top? Is it purely ornamental?

Thanks Martin III, I believe the button is called an 8-Way Point-of-View Hat. It's like a miniature joystick. I think it allows you to change the view you're using on certain games, probably has other functions too depending on the game.

I bought one loose, so I'm jealous of the original box & manual. Very nice. :)
