Lost Eden?

Post by vampyre mike » Fri Jun 15, 2012 6:02 pm

I have seen this game on a few sites for $5, isn't it slightly rare? I think it's listed wrongly, a few book sellers sometimes list games with a similiar sku on accident =).

Either way, I'd buy it for $5.

Love the music in this game. It's a great one to sit down and play through.

I got stuck a few times, but it doesn't hurt the experience to look up tips.

OK I saw one for $1.99USD that is just the case and disc (they claim the game works just fine), so I grabbed it. It's one of the few games that doesnt run in 4DO so i'll play it on the console :)

Lost Eden is a great game that should be in any 3DO owners collection. The only possible knocks I could give it is that it gets repetitive, and it is also very easy (especially with a built in hint system that basically tells you what to do) But it's worth it for the visual splendor, the incredible music, top notch voice acting, nice story, etc ... It's one of my favorite 3DO games! :D
Most wanted - Eye of Typhoon, 3DO Magazines issues #14 & #15, Pro Stadium, Defcon 5

Yeah, I'd agree the only downside is the repetitive portions. I noticed this when I played again recently.

Afterwards I downloaded the music and listened to it probably for a week straight at work.

There were 4 of them from $1.99 to $5.00 USD. I only grabbed one, and I wasn't even going to do that until I saw the positive comments from everyone. I'm still looking for a bust a move / puzzle bobble. I'm not a collector so I'm not after a high end sealed box version lol. Because if I buy a sealed game it will get opened and played. Heck it doesn't even need the manual :)

I've always thought this game looked interesting, but I just watched a YouTube clip for the first time, and I have NO IDEA what is going on...
