Where can I find a manual for Double Dragon V?
Atari Age doesn't have a scan (the only one they are missing it seems) and I can't seem to find one for the Jag version elsewhere. I finally got the game (keep the sarcasm to a minimum ) but it was just a loose copy (I wasn't gotta break the bank for this one ) Anyone know where I can find a scan? (or buy just the manual?)

I appreciate the thought. Thankfully, it seems to be the type of game that doesn't require knowing too many special moves in order to win. Button mashing seems to be working just fine for me.Austin wrote:If I had it I'd scan it for you. I will eventually have it, just probably not in the near future.

I managed to pick up some special moves by doing Street Fighter type motions. The thing is ... I'm not sure I even need them ...
When I tried to play it like 2d fighters that I'm used to, I got pummled quickly. The cpu seems to block everything, the hits I registered seemed to barely do any damage, etc ...
I then tried to play it more like a button masher ... I'd jump quickly w/a few high attacks, and switch up and repeat some low ones. I'd slowly back the cpu into the corner as quick as I could, land a few hits, backup & repeat. Using these "techniques" I never lost a match ... not even one.
Now granted I've only done the normal difficulty. And to be fair, I have more matches that end due to no time being left than to the opponenet being finished. But still, I'd have to say Double Dragon V is both one of the most difficult & one of the easiest 2d fighters I've played.
