Is this rare...?

Post by 3DOKid » Sat Feb 24, 2007 2:16 am

Or has everyone got one?

It's a autobahn tokio and virtual baseball demo disc. It cost me 200 yen which is about £1.00

I don't have much rare stuff - believe it believe it not. Not like some of you guys. :D

Yep, that is a little rare. They used to show up every once in a while, but lately they've been a little scarce.
Good find

Actually, whats really rare is to have the magazines that come with that one. HYPER REAL CLUB magazine was the closest thing you'd find to the US 3DO CLUB mag in Japan. Not wholly informative, but had some neat articles. Including showing stills of how they made the M2 dolphin demo video, and the location of REALAND, the 3DO only store. (I can do a scan or two if you folks request it)

Mostly they're fan mags, 16-26 pages, game lists, not overly informative, containing fan artwork, some previews and the like. Still since some of the stuff is now rarer than uncooked steak, you might want to locate them.

Oh, and the early winter mag contains info on 11th HOUR, including it's serial #, and also material on the STREET FIGHTER II MOVIE interactive game. Late winter is the M2 stuff.

"REALAND" is this where I'll go when I die?

A scan would be great if it's possible!

3DO kid.

Hmm, has to be rare, I don't even have Autobahn Tokio. I need that game though as I played it once back in the day, and it was fun as hell! Cool score dude, the demo discs are getting harder and harder to find indeed.
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!
