So I think it's high time I got an avatar for use on this forum. Two questions:

1.Is a portrait of a character from Solar Eclipse a sufficiently on-topic avatar for this board? For the moment I don't have any good images from actual 3DO games, though I'll certainly switch to that once I get one.
2.How do I get a 21.2 KB image file down to the maximum size of 12 KB? I already have it down to 100x100 pixels, well within the 120x120 pixel limit.

1. That image is fine.
2. Adobe Photoshop.

Thanks! Took me a while to get around to this, I'm afraid, but the good news that I've since gotten a good 3DO image to use. Though looking at it now, it seems a little dark... Should I brighten it?

It doesn't seem to dark to me.

I should get a new avatar myself. I've had this one for ages.
