Two more for the Nintendo pile

Just got these babies. Nice cover art, too bad that's where anything that's good about these games ends.

Now I just need the other Zelda game & Hotel Mario and I'll be done. Kinda wish I could fix my name at the CDinteractive forums.

What I want to know is how much you paid for them. They seem to be ridiculously expensive these days (I remember acquiring them for less than $10 a pop "back in the day").

I have Hotel Mario and it's not too bad (it's playing on the tv in the background of my television interview) , Zelda's Adventure is ludicrously priced and still on my want list.I paid around 80 bucks for those 2 Zeldas delivered.

I paid nothing, they were a gift. Yes the prices are unrealistic now and that's why they never sell. About $40 US is about what one is worth. That goes for Hotel Mario as well. Zelda's Adventure really moves around depending on how many are on ebay at a time. I've seen them sell for $30 and I've seen them go for $50. Of course when they are cheap I don't have any money.

thats not a bad gift

i remember back in 2002/2003 those 2 games could only fetch $15 each, both games used to be listed for $30 alot

i found my Faces of Evil and Hotel Mario in the garbage and in complete/good condition.
i paid $10 for a used gamelon and i got a cdr of the $100 to $180 (on ebay back then) zelda adv.
after playing the first 2 games no way was i going to pay $100 on the game without playing it first
which was a good move :D

yeah, I played Faces of Evil before getting the games and can play Zelda's Adv. and Hotel Mario even though I don't own them yet. I can't really say any of them are worth playing for very long but I'd like to have them sitting on the shelf. Zelda's Adventure isn't really a high-point for me as it doesn't have any official Nintendo artwork on it.

I found Hotel Mario to be fun and actually decently put together as a game (FMV clips withstanding), but I definitely can't say the same for the Zelda's unfortunately. They are nice collectors pieces though, that's for sure.

Man, thats a pretty sweet gift!

Hotel Mario is pretty good. The Zelda games are actually decent (as far as CD-i games go) but you absolutely need a real controller, otherwise the play like garbage.

You should post on the CD-i forum 3DExp ...

I do, under the name "CD-i Inexperience", or do you mean I should post my original post?
