Best CD32 games?
What would you guys say are the must-haves for the CD32 console?
I would say...
1. Superfrog (best Jump'n Run ever!)
2. Alien Breed II (great atmosphere, better than the 3rd part)
3. Lotus Trilogy (Lotus 2 was the best racing game of the early 90s)
4. Worms (very funny multiplayer party game)
5. Beneath a Steel Sky (heavily underrated adventure game!)
6. Ultimate Body Blows
If I would also take the compatible CDTV games into consideration I would
add:
1. Turrican 1
2. Turrican 2

I don't have too many CD32 games, and you've already named some of my favs like Beneath a Steel Sky , the Lotus Trilogy, Body Blows, etc ...
My first choice would probably be Liberation, an rpg type game thats huge in scope w/all the CD perks. A ton of game to be explored here, w/great atmosphere.
There are also some games that appear on other consoles but that are still great on the CD32 like Pinball Fantasies,, Pirates Gold, Soccer Kid, The Chaos Engine, etc...
And of course, games that I haven't played yet (but want to) like Darkseed, Pinball Illusions, Simon the Sorceror, Universe, etc...

Most wanted - Eye of Typhoon, 3DO Magazines issues #14 & #15, Pro Stadium, Defcon 5
Liberation? Interesting! I never played it, but it got only average
critics in German magazines. Despite that I hear quite often that
Liberation was actually a very good game and it is frequently quoted
as "the CD32 exclusive title by Tony Crowther".
Maybe I should have given it a try!
Simon the Sorcerer is beautiful, in every aspect.
Colourful, lively graphics, lovely soundtrack, great voice-actors
and pretty humourious (does that word exist?) story!
How about "Prey"? Never played it either, but I heard it was quite good!
And Pirates Gold! is, of course, an awesome game - I was just a bit
disappointed by the graphical presentation, which was far behind the
possible. Fantastic soundtrack though!

I always liked "Seek & Destroy" - does someone know that game?
Beneath a Steel Sky was declared freeware by the developers in
2003 and can be downloaded with the speech pack at the "ScummVM"
homepage. Runs fine via Scumm on Windows, MacOS, Linux and Amiga!
I remember an official "Gremlin" compilation CD for the CD32 with
all the major Gremlin top hits on it.
But this CD was weird. Though it was an official release, the games on
it were just the cracked floppy disc images, which have been floating
around the net for years before.
Obviously Gremlin didn't want to put much effort in this CD and finally
took advantage of all the illegal copies - that way, they didn't have to
remove the copy protections themselves.
Anyway, I was a bit disappointed when I realized that I just bought
an official Gremlin CD full of former illegal copies (some even still had
the intros by the crack groups in it!).

Shouldn't be a problem on all AGA chipset Amigas (A1200 & A4000).
Except for the CD32 games utilizing the CD32's "Akiko" custom chip, but I
only know of one: Microcosm.
Some other CD32 games are basically designed for the old ECS chipset
(Superfrog, Defender of the Crown, ...etc.), so those games should
work on ECS Amigas like the A500, A600, A2000, A3000, ...etc) as well.

Chaos Engine and Banshee were brilliant too.
