Because my employers believes I am a fine public speaker, I am being sent to Egypt on Wednesday to publicly speak finely :) (luckily writing style isn't taken into account.)

Yeah Pyramids :)

I'll post a picture :)

Lucky man! Hope you have a brilliant time. I was there earlier this year. Have always wanted to go and we were away for a week and were looking forward to seeing the Pyramids and maybe Luxor too... but the uprising started about 3 days before we went! D'oh!

We were staying in Sharm el Sheik in an absolutely fantastic hotel and it was very quiet because the Americans, Australians and Germans couldn't get into the country. Other countries were fine but seriously there were about 2 dozen people staying that week in this hhuuggee hotel! Did a dessert safari, snorkelling in the Red Sea and spent some time in the local town. Wonderful holiday even without the chance to see the main reason for going in the first place.

It's just a business trip but they foolishly let me book my own room at the hotel. BWAHAHAHAHAHAH! I stopped short of the butler. (I'm not kidding.)

I also stipulated that I must see the pyramids. Even if it's just a drive-by.

Has the Murphy's Law disc ever been mentioned on this forum? Well, I'm mentioning it now since you said public speaking. The game(?) is loaded w/sayings, quotes, etc ... and quite possibly the only time one might find it useful is if they were preparing to give a public talk or lecture. Full english too (w/funny accents)

Again, have fun! I'm gonna play Seal of the Pharoh in your honor. 8)
