Me: "Everything that has a price is available."

Dunce: "Would you give me a good deal on all of it."

Me: "Not really. Prices are firm."

Dunce: "So how much would it be for all the stuff then?"

Me: "The price of everything (everything is priced) plus whatever it would cost to ship it all to you."

Dunce: "OK then my zipcode is ***** what would the total be."

Me: "$1,000".

Instinct in these situations is king. Gut reaction will tell you someone is wasting your time 9 times out 10.

My buddy Mach asked me why I wouldn't mod consoles for people. I told him "I can get $50, enough to keep a store going for a day, and never see that person again. Or I could insult them and perhaps goad them into a beating. Plus I don't like the labor involved with modding consoles."
