Reminds me of an old story I read somewhere!
Apparently this guy decided to load up some old DOS adventure game because he wanted to impress his girlfriend who mentioned playing it in passing. Anyway to cut a long story short he found the game via his work PC and internet connection. Decided to give it a go, when his boss walked in even though he turned off the monitor/sound system the internal PC parts started chirping away as they used to do! Guy got fired end of story!

I used to work at an ISP in the mid 90s. I played a lot of Rise of the Triad on the PC back then, and that game had the F12 key escape to a DOS shell -- that was pretty cool.
Also, the guy I shared an office with would run a program called Picture Sucker to download his porn since the OC-12 fibre connection at work was a wee bit faster than his dial-up. Picture Sucker is a newsgroup file attachment leecher/archiver, that minimizes to the task tray with the title "2nd Quarter Projections."
