After hearing everyone rave about Brasso, I picked some up and attempted to repair some damaged discs. I think I'm doing everything right like wiping from the center out, using lint free cloth etc ... (I've read several walkthroughs) but I'm not having success. In fact, I may have made one disc worse, I'm not sure yet.

Does anyone have some hints or extra details I may not know of? I've tried it on both my OOTW disc & QB Attack disc (I'm not doing any more until I figure out what is up) Both seem like they should be repairable w/out deep scratches, and they do play to an extent.

So, any tips are appreciated. Or, If someone wants to sell me either of the above games (or Mega Race, my other damaged one) that'b be awesome too!

so far all my scratched to hell discs seem to work, i have problems with the ones with holes in them like my CPU bach, or the ones that are cracked like my Saturns Guardian heroes

ive never used a CD fix kit, i owned one for the past 10 years but still havent opened it

If your disc has spots you can see through than sometimes it's due to the silver surface being on the "top" of the disc and it has a bit missing. What you can do to save it is take a black magic marker and write on the label side (top) where you can see through. It has worked on several of my audio CDs from the early 90's. If this works for you I suggest backing up and burning a copy of the disc(s) and place the originals away. Don't keep using it or it will end up like my B-52's Good Suff CD... covered in black and skipping like hell.
