Call of duty

Due to it's popularity, I have had a nagging doubt that the Call of Duty series would be crap. Living by the rule, that if your opinions agree with popular opinions, it's time to change your opinions. So image my disappointment that Call of duty Modern Warfare was aces. especially the bit that had me in the nuclear soviet town with the Ferris wheel and sniper rifle. It was awesome. Which was arguably my favourite level ever on any game. Ever. I don't say that lightly.

CoDMW2 was closer the dream. Sensational just because... no memorable moments and perilously close to being crap.

Thankfully, and finally, Black Ops (or Cack Ops) is as crap as I suspected the others would be. three releases and it's rubbish. phew. finally eh?

Hmmm ... not too many express dissapointment when they think a game is great. Don't worry, it's okay to agree w/the masses on occasion.

Some things are popular for a [good] reason. I have still yet to give a COD game more than five minutes of my time though. Probably one of those things I should put on my bucket list. Maybe.

I know a few people that took it back because the online play was pretty horrible I guess. I bought/played Modern warfare 2 and I wasnt going to buy the same game again to only play it for a month. Some people though, thats all they do is play the latest COD game online all day and night.

So, I've really really tried with Cack Ops, and I can confirm it's crap. It's unclean and confusing, the cut scenes are tedius, the plot contrived and the gun battles no fun whatsoever. I give up - ebay, here it comes.
