It's nobody business what you do with your money the same applies for responsibility.
Says the guy that implies, "Well durrr, just use your credit cards!"

Unless I interpreted that wrong.

No, you haven't.

But it's hard to believe any human being can pass 3 weeks without any kind of money, credit or real.

To be honest isn't a real deal to wait that much to people who live in countries that the mail work. I'll have to wait 3 weeks + 2 months for it to arrive.
Besides Brazil customs is on the verge to go on a strike and stop working. That being said, you can understand that soonest the order is places the better my chances are to get the adapter.

But anyhow, that's not your problem, just like it's not mine that you spend all your money. We are both on shit situations.

Eh, whatever. I guess count me out, guys. I don't want to hold up any whiners. Knowing me, I won't be in a situation where I can let $120+ go when the time comes anyway, and I'll probably be in over my head regardless when it comes to the soldering job.

StoneAgeGamer wrote on AtariAge that he might have the ability to stock some of these for his site, but it's up in the air right now. I'll just wait it out and see if he gets some down the road.

Hey, no arguing from anyone! This is one of the reasons the sale forum got shut down, and look what's happening. One friggin' purchase, not even on our site, and there is already bickering. I know we are all excited about getting these but there's no reason to argue over it.

veggav, if you are really that worried about waiting three weeks because of a strike, keep in mind these haven't even been made yet, ie. they don't even exist.

As for who will do the ordering I have a good idea of who I feel the most confident in. I will be sending him a message discussing this. He might not even be comfortable, or have the means to do this for us.

We have enough to make an order!

I'm not fighting, I'm just arguing that everybody has it's reasons and the best days of payment/shipping and so on, it's impossible to keep everybody happy.

I'm not whining either all I'm saying is: everybody has some kind of problem. That's all.

Whoops! Sorry, I'm not sure how your name was cut out.
I'm talking with someone to help us with the order. I'm not going to say who until we get it sorted out how the order(s) will be placed & shipped as I don't want any PMs being sent until he, or I in his place, post on here that it is ok to do so.

I'll put up a translated parts list with simple description and prices. People can figure out exactly what they want, the prices will include the origianl amount in rubles and a link to give you an estimate of the price in your country. I believe I know what it says already but I'll be double checking to be safe.

Ok, things are looking good, we are working out the payment and shipping procedures. Please keep in mind that the last time it took three months from order time to when it was received, and that was to someone in his own country. Not to mention he was prepared to make them when that order was placed.

So far it might take three weeks before he can start taking the orders. If you ask me waiting three weeks is not a problem; and only those who just found out about this a few days ago have voiced any concern. As it stands we are waiting the three weeks.

Three weeks, a month, 3, 6, whatever works. I'm in no grand rush for anything.

Wow, been a week since I last heard anything. I need to be patient, I'm sure Mnemo is still figuring things out and he's probably working on other things right now. I was going to wait until things were mostly worked out to post this but I'll do it now for you to look over.

Remember orders are not being taken yet!

Adapters are thoroughly tested for several days.
These are only for the FZ-10. (It has been speculated that they could be hooked up to an FZ-1 but you are on your own.)
With your order you will get detailed instructions where to make the connections.
It is necessary to solder 18 wires. A good soldering iron and few skills required. If you concerned about your soldering skills you can always bring it to a place that works on electronics.
If using a hard drive, it must be formatted to FAT32.
Prices do not include shipping and handling.

WOW $178 USD for a IDE44 one (which would be the way to go) :(

Just how much would shipping be from Russia to the US for something like this?

This is coming at a bad time for me. I am getting ready to move into a new house :( I hate having to pass on this for now :(

On the cheaper CD/DVD ones. Are you able to burn the ISOs to a DVD disc (as files)and read them the same way you would on a hard drive? You can fit 4GB of stuff on a normal DVD right?

I have a SDcard reader that uses an IDE port. Would that work on this also?

Good questions, I'll have to ask.

3DO Experience, i have money in hand for the 44 option. So please put me on the definite list.

Btw, has the guy given any indication on how much world wide shipping will be? Im just curious to know how much to earmark for this. Im guessing no more than US$35?

I check in on this thread every now & then to see if everybody's ready.

The last posts I see from those who wish to delay are exactly 3 weeks ago & state that they'll be ready in 3 weeks.

Are you fellas ready?

Thanks!
-Jason
