Hi, long time no see !
Sorry guys but i had to pause the development of 'Hide the Baby' because cdoty's libs were buggy
and it became harder and harder to make progress because my code was all messy. See the Spagheti Limit
So i have decided to port Dong Nyugen's latest game to the 3DO.
That's right , Swing copters on the fricking 3DO !
It took me almost 3 days to do it but there it is.
It feels a bit different from Dong Nguyen's game but it's otherwise very similar.

Thats awesome. Hey is there any chance you can take your games and combine them into one burnable rom with a menu and such so we can play them that way instead of different disks for each game? That would be cool.
What came after the Jaguar was the PS1 which for all it's greatness, ushered in corporate development and with it the bleached, repetitive, bland titles which for the most part we're still playing today. - David Wightman

Hmm , it can be done and there's apparently a function which could help me to do that with only a few lines of code.a31chris wrote:Thats awesome. I don't think i will include Vigoroth the delivery man though because that game is way too buggy and i learned a lot from it.

Nice. Let's do this. Sorry to hear that Hide the baby is pretty much done as is. Hopefully we see some more cool stuff from you down the road?
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!

Yeah of course, I'm still not done with the 3DO.T2KFreeker wrote:Nice. Let's do this. Sorry to hear that Hide the baby is pretty much done as is. Hopefully we see some more cool stuff from you down the road?
I've contacted Topper and he gave me his new improved graphic library for 3DO.
Not only his graphic library is faster and handles memory better, it also has some support for rotations and scaling.
He also made a Text library too but it does not seem to work well right now...
I've updated cdoty's example to use Topper's new library and i will post it here soon.
I have figured out how to play Music properly too.
It's not perfect but it's much better than my previous attempt. (See Hide the baby)
It almost makes me want to update all my games now.

Hey, great to hear you're still at it! Even though I'm way behind on your stuff - I think I still haven't actually played the latest version of Unlucky Pony - I am still interested.

Hello everyone,
Heli-copt3rs is now using the Gameblabla's Wrapper and works on 3DO, PC, GCW, NSPIRE, PSP with no to little modifications to the code.
Version 1.1 brings nothing to the game itself except it is now PAL optimised. (thanks to my library)
It's just a showcase of what you can do with my library
