PS3 Ripped Off 3DO?

Maybe it's just me, I dunno...but doesn't the PS3 system in a way look like the FZ-10?
Granted, not an exact copy, but I can see a little similarity between the two...anyone else?

The original xbox always reminded me of an FZ-1
Rumour has it that the bulk of the cagenet (3do III) team ended up at MS

Yes the PS3 looks like the FZ-10, but I always thought the FZ-10 looks like the Turbo-Duo, which also looks like one of the CD-i models.

After looking at pics, dang! I can see the similarities on the FZ-10/Duo/CD-i!
As for Xbox/FZ-1, I thought that too when I first saw one.

Hey it was the 90's, everybody started going for that sleek swept look. I guess Sony is just a decade out of date.

The FZ1 cannot be compared to the original Xbox. I mean the the FZ1 is elegant and beautiful and the Xbox is fugly. I mean, it's an abomination.

and yet the the FZ-1 fits perfectly in my xbox carry bag!
The FZ1 cannot be compared to the original Xbox. I mean the the FZ1 is elegant and beautiful and the Xbox is fugly. I mean, it's an abomination.

No one can say the original Xbox is pretty? The Wii is pretty. The Sanyo 3DO looks like a weird VHS video player, the PS1 is pretty too. Goodness only knows what Sony were thinking with the PS2. The PS3 looks more like a piece of 1970s scifi. Looks like a chunk from the Star Wars Death Star interior. I don't mind it. Except for maybe the spider man font.
Mrs 3DOkid has purchased me, hopefully, mod-kit for my 360.
That all said, the FZ1 is by far the best looking games console ever made. It doesn't look like a games console, but then it's not boring either. It look special

I don't see it... At all. MAYBE you could say it looks KINDA like a Turbo Duo, but still... Nope.
