you know me. 3DO/PS1 fanboy but I just had a go on Starfighter 3000 for the PS1. It's "rubbish", in a word, compared to the 3DO version. Weird.

So, aside from the number 3000, are there any meaningful differences?Other than the PS1 version is a sloppy, choppy port of the super-slick 3DO version?

on the Saturn, it is the same game, caleed Star Fighter in the USA but StarFighter 3000 in Europe and in Japan. I can't say more than that

Even though I know of some of the differences, I'd enjoy hearing some detailed comparisons of the two from those who own both.

I think there may have been another thread discussing this, but this one only has a few posts, so ...

Well, for starters, the Saturn version has a crap-ton of "fog". I'm guessing it's the same in the PS1 version.
