Sneaky seller, in my opinion.

What a sneaky underhanded seller this is, in my honest opinion. This guy thought he was real slick by putting up a damaged Demo Binder for auction. He had little idea what it would fetch so he put up a reserve. That's not the bad part though. It seems he put the reserve at some insane amount so it was unlikely to ever sell. Why would he do this? So he could take an amount near the highest bid at the end of the dummy auction, turn around and relist the demo binder for that amount (149) then put a buyout at double the price. (The last 2 binders went for about $100 and were far more complete and in MUCH better condition if I remember correctly.)
Why? So he now has a baseline of what he "thinks" the binder is worth. He puts his new minimum starting price down figuring that one of two things will happen. Either he'll get bidders for near or more than the same amount that the previous auction ended due to a new bidding war or someone will buy it outright. Either way, he wins. The likelyhood of someone paying 300 dollars for a binder worth 50-150 is unlikely, however it's a gamble.

Just a heads up to anyone looking to give their money to this guy. I won't and he's now blocked so I won't ever see his auctions. Do yourself a favor and wait for another binder with an honest up front seller. There are THOUSANDS of these things out there.
