Favorite light gun game

Post by Trev » Fri Nov 23, 2007 9:01 pm

Corpse Killer is fun for something different, and I do like Demolition Man (good memories) but I think my fav is ALG's Space Pirates.

Worst is most certainly the original Mad Dog, which borders on unplayable!

So, what does everyone else think?

Corpse Killer was the best. You see - I like Mad Dog. I remember the arcade very fondly.

Ahh, but a good arcade game does not always a good console game make (Pac-Man 2600 anyone) I liked most of ALG's games in the arcade, but their freshmen effort on 3DO was awful no matter how much nostalgic bliss you are smoking

My favorite is crime patrol. I like sense of the humour in the game.

If you played Mad Dog I for 3DO you must have had a very traumatic childhood ...

If you mean the original arcade version though, all is good.

i played them so far apart i couldnt tell any differences in them actually
i think the 3do had cleaner FMV, well atleast one of them looked better but i cant remember which its been 7 years since ive played either version

i played the sega cd one back in 97 and the 3do one around 2001ish

I decided to finally add a poll for this topic. Please vote.

There are quite a few gun games so I grouped them by style in the poll. As a result, even though Space Pirates is my fav, the combined strength of Demo Man & Corpse Killer forced me to switch my vote.
