Who do you think were the best 3DO Publishers?
What Publishers do you think brought the games that had the best combination of playability, and killer graphics that pushed the system? For me, I feel that Crystal Dynamics, Studio 3DO and EA were the top three publishers. EA being the best only becuase of a larger catalog of games than the other two publishers. If talking quality over quantity, I think Studio 3DO is the best publisher.

Yeah I would tend to agree with you on your list. I would say Crystal Dynamics is top, they really tried. EA is a close second, but of course they would give the system a go they were Trip's lap dog
. Then, Studio 3do as they didn't do much until the relative end of the systems life (I thought). Microcabin deserves an honorable mention as does ART DATA FOR THEIR FANTASTIC WORK ON DOOM!
Interplay & Digital Pictures were also solid solid publishers for the platform.
I agree that Crystal was great, but they didn't stick w/3DO till the end, unlike EA & Studio 3DO. Panasonic was consistent in their support of the platform (unlike other 3DO manufacturers like Goldstar) and were the last to publish 3DO titles in the American market.
Overall though, EA gets my nod.

I'm with Trev. I went through my collection, sticking them into publisher piles and was staggered how much stuff Panasonic published. Of cause it was in their interest but still it eclipses Crystal Dynamics by quite abit.
EA's quality releases for the 3DO put them a head and shoulder above everyone else though.
American Laser games were also pretty good - and consistent.

yeah...I'm not that big of FMV/lightgun games. Though they may be top quality FMV/lightgun games, I was never impressed with American Lazer games releases, and the one game that I recall not FMV released by them suck big time: MAZER. What a piece of complete crap that game is.
Did they do VR Stalker? I don't own the game anymore, so I can't look a the box. That one was pretty good for it's day. I used to have well over a hundred 3DO games, but I sold off all the ones I thought were crap or weren't my cup of tea last year when I was unemployed. I only kept my "top 50." Actually I think I have less than 50 now, I'll have to count. I got all I want though, at least from the current library.
