When you are dead.

Post by 3DOKid » Wed Jul 18, 2007 9:42 pm

It's going to happen to all of us one day. Death. What you going to have done with all your stuff? Especially your 3DO stuff. There is a good chance it will end up in the bin if we aren't careful!

I just released when I die Mrs 3DOkid will find all my 3DO smut. This may besmirch my good name, and more importantly, her memory of me. Worse than it already is. I'm going to need something that atomizes everything I own once my heart stops beating. Any suggestions?

What a morbid topic for a video game forum!

Actually, I have no idea if I'll even keep my collection that long... Ugh, stop making me think about the future.

Hmm, well, I have no idea what to do with my collection. I really try not to think of these sorts of things. Very scary Kid. I'll have them cremated and put in an urn to have the ashes burried with me. Then they can go with!

What if some n00bs rediscover retro gaming but because all you people cremated your 3DOs so they are being sold at the same price that they launched?

Buried is fine. It'll be like a time capsule. They'll dig me up 2,000 years and then chuck it all away.

Judging by what is on eBay = that's pretty much already happened.

I think not.

I acquired my 3DO a year and a half ago with 11 games and 4 demo discs for $70. $630 lower than the launch price.

There's tards selling anything at any price. When the PS3 launched a family was selling it at 3 million dollars and also said that whoever wins the auction, the family will come to their house on Christmas Eve dressed as the fatass Santa and deliver the PS3. Location didn't matter and they would even go to Iraq.

Even the most popular game that could be selling for $5 on ebay, I'm sure there's at least 1 buy it now douche who's unaware that he's selling diddly scat and lists it for $100 RARE BRAND NEW zo_OMG!!!

The systems can stay right where they are. I'm going to haunt the place. :) Maybe I'll have more time to play them, when I'm dead.

Imagine a scene where you see game systems floating through air, and connecting to a TV at all hours of the night.

Yes - I can see the cable TV documentary now.

"Yes Mrs Cdoty -- you say he died unexpectedly and is now haunting a retro-games console..."

"You say you wouldn't mind but he's playing at all hours of the night?"

They have to hire Trip Hawkins to perform the exorcism.
