Video Game Magazine pictures - Do you want them?

Post by Lemmi » Mon Jan 29, 2007 10:19 pm

Hey Now!

over the weekend i took pictures of 35 gaming mags that i have from 1994 to 1997, because my scanner doesnt work right now

the pics are 1600x1200 and taken in the 2 megapixel mode of my camera to keep quality high and size low, and you can read everything on the pages in full picture mode

everything having to do with the 3DO i took pics of, like ADs, controllers, letters to the editor, reviews and previews also many M2 pictures and articles - there is also various pics of Jaguar/SegaCD/CD-i and other things also included

part 1 is 70mb and part 2 is 68mb
i have part 1 uploaded to Rapidshare right now
part 2 will take about 35min to upload

Anyone Interested? :D

Me. I'm interested. Are they American Mags? I love American game magazines. We get a couple here in the UK but not many. I always think that American Journo's write more to the reader, where Euro mags speak to a crowd - if that makes sense!

I'd be interested to know who published these. Perhaps we can officially host them on this network with the right legal permissions. Mathias from Philipscdi.com did the same thing for the Dutch based CD-i Magazine which CDinteractive now hosts in PDF.

many of my mags have water damage to them (rescued from a rainy day at a fleamarket) and when my scanner worked they didnt show up well because of the dried up wrinkled pages but pictures get around that

here is the link to the first part so that you can see if they are even worth it, i didnt crop many pics (maybe 4 total) and almost all of them are first pic trys

these are from american mags like
Game pro x13
Game Informer x4
Next Generation x3
EGM1 and EGM2 x8
Video Games the ultimate gaming mag x5
Game Players x2

i also have 3do mags as well, 5 from the US and 2 from the UK, plus 2 3do club news issues, and CD-i mags, 5 from the US and 2 from the UK

but these arent included in my pics
