I remember seeing this in the mid-90s, and I've seen the mouse pop up on eBay from time to time as well. What titles does the mouse work with? Is there a reason to have one? (Aside from just being able to say that you have one, obviously. )

A few that I recall off the top of my head are Myst, World Cup Golf, & some of the ALG shooting titles. If you have any of the 3DO Game Secrets books, they list which titles are compatible (I'll have to check to see what I am forgetting) I do use the mouse from time to time, but If I was not a collector I might not have bought mine (unless it was cheap) That being said, just to say that you have one should be reason enough

Fun n' Games, Kingdom: The Far Reaches, Lemmings, & Shanghai are 4 other mouse compatible titles.

Thank you. That helps rationalize going on the hunt for a mouse.

OK. Follow-up ... between the JM1 (Japanese Mouse?) and JS1 (Japanese Stick?) which is more rare? Are there simply FZ-M1 and FZ-S1 versions (US English packaging)?

Hmmm...I really don't know. I think the mouse shows up on Ebay more often but I can't say for certain. I think the mouse is the same in all regions, not sure on the stick though. I'll try to look into it. Maybe someone else knows for sure?

P.S. I forgot to mention Cyberdillo earlier ... it also supports the mouse.

i would also like to know all the games that can be used with the mouse, the only time i used a mouse on a gaming console was the Sega Mouse

i bet most of the games that dont need rapid button pressing and the interactive titles might all work with the mouse

I posted a list of mouse compatible titles above. To recap ...

-Cyberdillo
-Fun 'n Games
-Kingdom: The Far Reaches
-Lemmings
-Myst
-Shanghai Triple Threat
-World Cup Golf

Most of the American Laser Games (ALG) Gun Games are also mouse compatible like Space Pirates, Crime Patrol, etc... These are all that I am aware of.
