Retro Gamer Magazine - 20 Years of 3DO

Post by ILUV3DO » Thu Sep 19, 2013 9:12 am

Hey all,

I just found out that Retro Gamer Magazine will be including a "20th Anniversary of the 3DO" special in their September issue (#120) releasing on 9/19/13 in the U.K. and should start showing up about three weeks later in the U.S. The preview for the special mentions an interview with Trip Hawkins looking back at the creation of the console. I am in the U.S. so it will be a while before I see it, but I will purchase an extra copy so that I can post some scanned pics on here. Thought you all might be interested.

Cheers!

*Update*

Looks like the 3DO special has slipped to issue #122. This from the magazines forums:

"Thought the 3DO piece was supposed to be in this issue? Has it slipped?"

"Yes. It will be issue 122 now. I want to ensurewe get a strong interview with trip. The article itself is great, having been written by wil. Just want a little more content for it."

Still... can't wait!

Looking forward to the read!

Yeah, me too. I want this issue when it releases. Some new 3DO press could be a good thing. Possibly get some of the retro guy to get their coding hats out and make new homebrew even?

I'm glad you helped Kid with this because the dude has been writing soem great stuff about the 3DO for years. Probably the only guy I know outside of a couple other people here, that knows more about the 3DO than I do. LOL

I checked the settings, looked ok to me. Maybe try again?
