64 Universal Controllers for 3DO video game console.

Post by pat47200 » Sat Jan 19, 2013 2:21 pm

Hello,

My name is Pat, i'm french and i have a 3do Panasonic FZ-1 with 25 games.
My favorite games are Alone in the dark 1 and 2 and Killing Time.

I come to present you my last creation and prototypes, the Universal Retro Controllers MVGS2, and i hope you like it.

In fact now we can play with 64 retro controllers universalised to more than 100 differents video games system (Computers, home video game consoles, smartphones and tactical tablets).

The universal retro controllers MVGS2 are originals controllers with a new pcb. There is no "lag" and you can use them on atari 2600 to Ps3, Wii-u, Xbox360, old computers to Pc, smartphone and tactical tablette when you use them with a MVGS2 adaptators:

Now what interests us, to use universals controllers on 3DO. For that we must use the adaptator MVGS2-3doFz1-3doFz10-3dos-Gdo-Edition....

... and the universal cable.

With this adaptator the 1st player can use all 64 universal controllers....

... and the 2nd player can use a original 3do controller.

For exemple we can play Super Street fighter 2 turbo with universalised super Nintendo controller:

I dont really know what to say, other than now no one can complain about their favourite controller not working for their favourite system anymore!

Now that is certainly a project! I can think of a few controllers I'd like to be able to do that with. Although I'm more of a fan of direct adapters you definitely wouldn't have any lag with your method. :)

This looks fantastic.

Let me get this straight though. I can use my PS1 controller with my 3DO?

Where do I buy one?

3dokid, you can do that right now with the TOTOTEK adapter, it works well with PS1-2 controllers. I have one myself.

Of course you can use Ps1 Controller (if universalised) and all other 63 controllers universalised with your 3DO.

For exemple, if i want to play with Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo on 3DO, you need the adaptator MVGS2-3doFz1-3doFz10-3dos-Gdo-Edition and a universalised controller with 6 buttons to play correctly, so you can use:

-Genesis and Megadrive controllers with 6 buttons.
-Pc-fx controller.
-Nec avenue pad 6 controller.
-Super Famicom controllers.
-Super Nintendo controllers.
-Saturn controllers.
-Amiga cd32 controller.
-Ps1 controllers.
-Hori gamecube controller.

If you use Ps1 controller or super nintendo controller on 3do, the config is:

3DO: ps1 : Super Nintendo:
X : Select : Select
P : Start/Triangle : Start/Y
A : crose : A
B : round : B
C : square : X
L : L1 : L
R : R1 : R

But so sorry today the universal retro controllers MVGS2 are not for sale :(
The process of universalization is patented in France and I hope to sell it to a manufacturer interested in this one.
