Immercenary is a great fps, but the early difficulty may turn you off. It's also more of a thinking man's fps and much less linear than say a Wolfenstein.

The Iron Angel games are a bit slow & clunky, but they have great atmosphere. The 2nd one runs a bit better imo.

Poe'd was a very ambitious fps with a feel that reminds me a bit of Metroid Prime.

Cyberdillo is good for a laugh (although I do actually think it is a solid game for what it is)

Although not strictly a first person shooter as it does have a lot of strategy elements I'd have to say Space Hulk 8)

To go along with that last recommendation, Defcon 5 somewhat qualifies as well.

Iron Angel of the Apocalypse 2 is interesting.

Escape from Monster Manor?
Though personally I never really liked it - but as far
as I know, many people do.

Yeah Escape from Monster Manor is a favorite of mine. It's a very simple game but those spiders... graaahh. When you get to them the game goes from easy to hard.

Oh and here's a fast list of a bunch (probably not every) of FPS on the 3DO:
  • Deathkeep
    Defcon 5
    DOOM
    Escape from Monster Manor
    Immercenary
    Iron Angel
    Iron Angel 2
    Killing Time
    PO'ed
    Slayer
    Space Hulk
    Virtual Quest
This isn't a best of list! That should be obvious since DOOM is on it. :D

Virtual Quest may be better known as Seal of the Pharoh (unless you are in Japan) It really isn't a shooter and is more of a dungeon crawler like Slayer.

@3DOExp - I notice you left Cyberdillo of your list.

I'll pick on whoever is least likely to give me a ban request.

I dunno, we are both pretty liberal with the ban button...

Insecter War and Rush 'n Fire Megadas both play from a first person perspective, and you shoot. Not traditional FPSes obviously, since they are 1 on 1 games (and neither is very good. ).

BattleSport is what Insecter War should've been.

Definitely both Tetsujin/Iron Angel of the Apocalypse games. They are slow (especially the first one) but have a great atmosphere.
