B.C. Racers - Version Differences?

Hi all,
Just picked up B.C. Racers (for the 3DO of course). Though the game can get quite pixelated (especially while zoomed out), I was actually impressed by the character designs, background art style and how vivid and clean the colors were. The game chugged a little in 2 player split screen, but I am glad the option was included.
While playing I found myself wondering how the other three versions of the game (Sega-CD, Sega 32X, PC) stacked up to the 3DO version. Were the graphics as clean and bright? Was the frame rate better or worse? Were the endings any different? I understand that at least the Sega-CD version didn't have split screen. Just curious if any of you have happened to make a comparison?
