3DO dreams
Last night I dreamt I was shopping in some store all their merchandise inside individual glass display cases, and they had a rare signed promo copy of Cyberdillo for $60. I even remember thinking I should ask if anyone of these forums wants me to pass it on to him since, not being a fan of first person shooters, I have no interest in Cyberdillo.
Very random. And I assure you, my dreams are almost never as nerdy as that one.

Seems perfectly normal if you ask meMartin III wrote:Last night I dreamt I was shopping in some store all their merchandise inside individual glass display cases, and they had a rare signed promo copy of Cyberdillo for $60. I had one of those the other night. And yeah, it's always depressing when you wake up.3DO Experience wrote:I still have dreams of finding stores with tons of NES items in stock. I generally shop like hell and then just as I've got them home and about to start playing I wake up. Sleep can be so cruel.
It's weird how the mind works in sleep--some "locations" have reoccurred in my dreams.

You know, on the rare occasions where I dream about games, they usually start with me playing one. So... maybe I've been stealing the endings to your dreams?3DO Experience wrote:I still have dreams of finding stores with tons of NES items in stock. Give me my endings back! LOL
As for locations, yeah there are some repeaters; the old video rental on the side of a country road, the "K-Mart" from my childhood, the independent video game store with tons of old stock, and the most horrific one of all.... the trip to Akihabara with no spending limit! That last one really tortures me when I wake up.

"Wait. You don't have a bag of charcoal in your gaming room???"

I had a dream I was walking inside an exact-replica, real-life version of Kamachi's Museum...Everything was perfect except it was just like real life...
****. No. I really, really wish though. Nothing could ever top that.

A few month ago, before I bought my 3DO I dreamed I was somewhere in japan. It looked like a suburb area of tokio. I found a little game shop. For some reasons noone in the store was actually japanese. They had a nice collection of consoles, so I bought a Jaguar, a (blue) 3DO and a Bandai Playdia. I was so happy walking out with all my new consoles.
Then I woke up and it took me a few seconds to realize it was a dream. A little bit of a bummer.
But at the end I got my 3DO, love it even its not in blue color

Your blue 3DO can be fixed with a little creative thinking and a can of blue spray paint

I'm pretty sure in some countries, giving someone a copy of Cyberdillo is considered a war crime and a violation of the Geneva Convention.Martin III wrote:Last night I dreamt I was shopping in some store all their merchandise inside individual glass display cases, and they had a rare signed promo copy of Cyberdillo for $60.
