WWho has played it? Who has finished it?

Its a f***en patience testing game at times ill give it that!! Even with the game gun in hand...

I dead set love it, probably the best of the ALG live action shooters, but i HATE the parts when you shoot people and they dont die, seems to happen alot in the 3DO version.

One especially hard to hit person is when going after Cactus Kid, and youre in the pub, the woman says "Here, use this shot gun" ( and that thing is a real mean beast by the way ) and the next guy way up top in the middle is next to be dropped, but he is almost impossible to shoot. Pump 5 shots from the 12 gauge into him and he still laughs. Shoot him early, shoot him late, doesnt seem to matter.

Ive never finished this game for this exact reason. I can easily take out the rest of the game, although there are a fair few parts where shooting people doesnt seem to kill them...

The Shottie.... Why is this the only game that ever had special weapons?? That shot gun really mows them down. Wouldve been quite great to have something like this in Mad Dog 2, and some other weapons for Crime Patrol 1 and 2 as well...

A few differences between the arcade version and 3DO version too, there is a few extra scenes in the 3DO version, there is a little scene before you go out after each outlaw, and the end part is different, on the 3DO youll get attacked by one of the outlaws you didnt kill ( never killed them all, so i dont know what would happen if you killed them instead of captured them!! ) and on the arcade version youll get each one you didnt kill, they will all come up one after the other.

More shootouts on the arcade version they come up all the time. Same ones as on the 3DO, just alot more common to get stopped.

How about the Wii version of the game? Any major differences there, and does it more closely follow the 3DO or arcade version?

I played it the other night actually, and id say it is more along the line of the arcade version in that it has the extra cut scenes before you go out after each outlaw, but follows the 3DO in terms of the end sequence where you do last battles with the people you captured.

Arcade version you battle all the ones you kept alive, Wii you do 1 person random from those you kept alive.

3DO versions are much better in terms of playing the games if youre using a gun, the Wii versions are WAY better video quality, but the gun accuracy cant be adjusted on the Wii, so youre stuck with it how it is, which in some cases depending on the screen size and where youre located with the screen, it can be quite a way out depending on which plastic gun shape youre using for the Wii.

We did play it 3 players on the Wii though, and that really was awesome, as was Mad Dog 2. Mad Dog 1 was still abit outrageous.... The 3DO version of that is rather piss poor, but i prefer it cause the game gun is a better tool for the job.
