Ah, well that's the booklet I have an extra of so I guess you won't be needing it.

Yeah, I figured mine had the correct instruction booklet, but having never owned this one before, and seeing other Japanese games have alternate covers, I wasn't 100% sure. :)

I just nabbed a copy of Wolfenstein 3D off Ebay for $25. No longbox, but it has the original case and slipcover in good condition. I'm kind of wondering what happened there. Isn't Wolfenstein 3D one of the more collectible 3DO games?

That's a fair price for Wolfenstein without its longbox, if it has the manual and the disk is in good condition.
Also, the fact that it ended at $25 may have to do with the auction ending late at night on a Friday.

Wolfenstein is a weird one from what I can tell. The only ones that seem to appear have stupid Buy-It-Now prices, and naturally nobody buys them. It's good you were able to get one at a decent price on a normal auction (they rarely seem to pop up for normal auction, like many 3DO items these days). I don't know if $25 is a good price from a collectible standpoint, but it's well worth it from a gameplay perspective, even without the box. Easily one of the best games on the system.. At least to me, anyway! :D

I've played none of them yet :D

But looking forward to playing all of them because there all titles I really wanted back in the 90's.

Unfortunately though I can't play any of them because my TV remote is buggered and can't change channel - Hopefully picking a new one up soon and will be able to get stuck in :)

I could have sworn there was a generic gaming version of this thread but I can't seem to find it. I just bought volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Nintendo Games Secrets for 25¢ each and I want to brag!

It's not necessarily a new pickup, but its a milestone for me. I just hit 20 boxed games (21 if you count Madden, which I sure as hell don't). As I speak I have 2 or 3 on their way to me as well, which seems to be the norm as of late, with the rate I've been expanding my 3DO roster. I place blame for this obsession squarely on all of you for getting me into this. Thanks for being a great forum, guys.

Once I get a few more to show off, I'm going to post my collection. Should i show the rest of my gaming stuff as well, or will I be scorned for my folly?

I just scored a copy of Night Trap for under $20, which really makes me feel awesome when I look at the game's listing on Rarity Guide. 8) The description wasn't clear on what's included, but it's pictured with both discs and the manual, and that's good enough for me. I've wanted to get a look at this very controversial game since long before I got my 3DO (why on Earth didn't Digital Pictures bring it to the Saturn?). Good to finally have my hands on it.

So, I have kind of gone 3DO crazy lately. I picked these games up for $80 and it has pushed me to make a bunch more purchases lately. Most were disc, case and manual, but some were disc only.
Ballz: The Director's Cut
Cowboy Casino
Crash 'n Burn
Daedalus Encounter, The
Gex
Gridders
Icebreaker
Mad Dog McCree
MegaRace
Myst
PaTaank
Quarantine
Return Fire
Rise of the Robots
Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels
Space Pirates
Star Fighter
Star Wars: Rebel Assault
Syndicate
Wolfenstein 3D
Alone In The Dark
Shockwave: Invasion Earth 2019
Total Eclipse
Tetsujin Returns

Then I kind of went more crazy and picked these up complete
D Atlas
3DO Action Pack
3DO Buffet
3DO Sampler #3
3DO Sampler #4
Burning Soldier
Road Rash
Shockwave: Operation Jumpgate
Super Street Fighter II Turbo
Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger
Super Wing Commander
Ballz: The Director's Cut
Wicked 18 Golf
PGA Tour 96
PO'ed
Theme Park
Guardian War
and the Boxes for Cowboy Casino and Mad Dog McCree

Now I am broke, but with a 3DO smile on my face!

Well, it was released in multiple versions on Sega CD, so I guess they just did not see the need to do it again on Saturn.

I think they are badges, i have one variety myself, i think the one on the top left, but mine says "What are you playing with?" or something. The picture is dark, and my monitor is old and pretty dark too, so i cant make out what its supposed to say in the black area.

The same is true of Corpse Killer and Double Switch, yet those were both brought to the Saturn.

Seriously: Double Switch but not Night Trap? ...but I guess I shouldn't expect logical decisions from Digital Pictures.

Yeah, that's true. I wonder if it was do to all of the "controversy" around it at the time.

Nice pins. I used to have a small thin logo one years ago but I don't know what happened to it. I suspect it was stolen.

That sucks. But who would steal something 3DO related? The list of suspects must be very small.

Yeah, you let a friend bring some guy that you don't know over and sometimes things disappear. I suspect it was him, maybe he just liked the way it looked? It wasn't the only thing I suspect him of taking but by the time I noticed things were missing they had broken up. I swear to god if it turns out he took my Mega Man 3 cart I'll hunt him down and kick his face in. *cough* But I think some of my NES carts are just hiding like my Jaguar ones did (big nostalgia on the MM3). One of the worst was my sister's bf who used to "borrow" games and game guides. I'm still missing Nintendo Power issues because of him.

I still keep an eye out for those NP issues whenever I'm at one of my regular gaming haunts ... regret not snatching them when I saw them the first time.

Mega Man 3 is my favorite Mega Man game! :D

It's been so long since I have played Mega Man 3. I always think about it, then I remember how much more difficult it was compared to MM2. I can beat the game, but these days I don't like playing frustrating games as much as I used to. These days I mostly use emulators and have fun messing around with searching memory values making my own cheats.

Sorry, NES talk makes me de-rail threads more than they already have. :) I'll stop now.
