I'm jealous. No, no.. 'Envious' is a more suitable word choice here!
I had quite a high bid on this one, but didn't expect it to go for $100. It seemed like there was no activity on it, then someone got into a bidding war with me today. Maybe multiple people were going for it, I don't know. I had to hold myself back when it got to the $90 mark. Even though I had been selling items on AtariAge the last few days to work up some quick PayPal funds to pay for it, getting that high was really pushing it, especially because I was also bidding on Short Warp at the same time. I was hoping my PayPal credit would be enough to cover both games, but I was also expecting them to sell for $50 a pop at the most, tops.. but what do I know (I have never seen auctions of these before, so it was clearly an uneducated guess)? I ended up having to choose one or the other (and take a chance on the one that ended first), otherwise I knew I would have to deal with the consequences of paying heavily out of pocket. Alas, I only ended up with one (hint: it wasn't D)!
I wonder when the next one will pop up?
