Can you save your game in Shockwave??...

I LOVE this game, but I got it off of Ebay and it did not come with an instruction manual, so I don't know if you can save your game. The game only seems to save your profile, in terms of high scores, but I can't seem save in terms of picking up where I left off-which would be really helpful.

I remember it saving after each level provided you passed everything you needed to do. But there was something weird about it, like it just opened levels you could start on or something. It's been a while since I played it. I could be wrong though.
