Just discovered this great forum. The 3DO systems has given me so much fond memories that no other console past or present can ever replace.
My most memorable gaming moment was in 1996 when I dad came home with a brand new 3DO system with 'Crash and Burn' and 'Madden Football'.
We played Madden all night only resting for bathroom breaks and the occasional smoke and coffee breaks. We had so much fun with the system, that I even engraved the words 'Dad's Controller' and 'My Controller' on both the 3DO controllers itself. We were like two kids at Christmas.
My dad passed away 4 years ago, and I never had the heart to play with it again. I still have the original 3DO system and just my controller neatly tucked away in the closet. I placed my dad's controller on his grave the day he was buried.
I miss you dad...I miss you very much.
