I VOTED FOR THE "FZ-1"...
Not only the best 3DO, but imo, easily in my top 3 best looking consoles of all time, probably taking the 2nd spot for me (AES 1st *biased*, FZ1 2nd & DC 3rd).
Or, if you prefer, I think it is THE best looking CD console ever and the best looking console from the 32-bit era...

That was my consideration! I almost got an FZ-10 but I opted for the FZ-1 to save on vertical space. Plus that and the fact that the FZ-1 model IS IMO THE CLASSIC 3DO look.GuruMeditation wrote:
FZ-1. Even though it doesn't have a built-in memory manager, it looks the best of all the 3DOs and has a drive tray instead of being an ugly (and inconvenient if it's in a shelf) top-loader.
EDIT: The FZ-1 does have a memory manager without booting a disc, if you have the VideoCD module.

I went fz1 for similar reasons. Top loading just isn't as slick.NeoGeoNinja wrote:I VOTED FOR THE "FZ-1"...

FZ-1. Easily the better looking console and it's built like a tank to boot! I dropped one down a flight of stairs in my younger and dumber days, and it still worked just fine afterwards. I'm talking concrete stairs at an apartment building too, not carpeted ones inside a house. I don't think the FZ-10 would have fared so well. Although, the FZ-10 is still a cool machine.
This is a stick up! Put all of your 3DO games in the bag and nobody gets hurt!
