What are the controls for Super Wing Commander?

I don't know what the hell I'm doing in this game. I learned to shoot, boost, and warp I guess. I scouted all 3 areas in the first mission and I had to return back to the starship. I guess I had to land and I had no clue how. I ended up smashing my ship against it and killing myself.
