Could be worse I suppose ... atleast some of those games landed on the pc. And of course we did get a couple of the Elite titles in varying degrees of completion.

Of those I would have bought

Wing Commander IV (obviously)
Disrupter 7 (FPS)
Loadstar. (Probably because it came with the 70s scifi pictures)
Absolute Zero. (which was meant to be like space mission and stuff)

And I would have bought them come-what-may.

Maybe Deadly Skies if it was the same sort of game as Deadly Skies on the DC.

I assume since you plunked down dough for the pics you would have bought the Star Trek game too, no?

My love of Star Trek ends with the movies. I keep meaning to make the pictures available for one-and-all. Maybe tomorrow :)

It was initially reading about this game that prompted me to buy the 3DO in the first place and it never made the light of day!

Have you tried the interactive movies. I love them, but then again
I love that genre.

Anyone know the demise of Shredfest? Basically, it was EA's attempt at a road rash on snowboards (complete with hand to hand combat and a rock soundtrack). I remember the previews and being very psyched about it. Seemed like a guaranteed hit to me. It didn't surprise me when it didn't show up on 3DO (it's development was late in 3DO's life cycle), but I was surprised to never see it for the PSX, Saturn, or PC (it was supposed to hit all of those machines).

I had a dig around today and found nothing. Disappointing. Anyone know anything more?

Was there any official word from EA? Not that I'm aware of ... most publishers tend to clam up about cancelled projects.

All I remember is a pretty detailed preview writeup in Next Generation magazine. They had screenshots and everything. If I remember correctly, the release date was projected to be only a couple of months away from the magazine's printing. Some scant images from a google search:
