Plumber's Don't Wear Ties!!!
Sorry...couldn't resist
Are you looking for a Christmas themed game, or just a good game to play this time of year? I can't think of any Christmas themed games. Christmas is always a time of nostalgia for me, so...
If you just want some good old fashioned nostalgic fun, pick up a copy of Goonies 2 for the NES. "Welcome here, this is a warp zone!"
If you feel like turning into an eggplant and desperatly trying to find a nurse to turn you back into little angel, then Kid Icarus for the NES is your game!
Feel like building the world in your own image, or more acturately, within the confines of a strict set of rules that you cannot deviate from at all? Well then, you need Actraiser for the SNES!
If you have a Wii, go get a Zapper or Perfect Shot and a copy of Ghost Squad. Sure it's the same three levels over and over, and the only thing that changes is that more paths open to you, but I betcha can't put it down!
Grab a Genesis and a copy of Michael Jackson's Moonwalker and jam out to some classic tunes while spreading pixie dust on small children. That last bit might sound disturbing, but it's in the game people!
Did I mention Plumber's Don't Wear Ties?
Have a couple grand eating a hole in your pocket? Find a shop that sells used arcade machines, and get a 2 player sit-down Sega Indy 500 or Daytona arcade machine. I always wanted one of those...
Why not put a new spin on an old favorite? See if you can beat BC Racers without experiencing vertigo or motion sickness! Start with one race...if your recent meal is still safely in your stomach, that's a good start!
JJ and Jeff for the Turbo Graphics is worth it's weight in cartoon bird droppings! Check it out.
I'm sorry if this list seems all over the place and/or insane, but you weren't all that specific, so I just told you what I would do if I were the 3DOKid, instead of just a lowly 3DOSmacker
P.S. Whatever you do, don't start playing an MMORPG. They can be fun, but you will quickly become a slave, and you'll wonder what happened to your life. Your friends and family won't recognize/like you anymore, and you'll start to think that "we had a really good team going" is an adequate excuse to skip out on real life.
